In Tuesday's league contest, the host Calhoun County Saints basketball team scored a close 41-39 triumph over the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans.

The Saints (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against North (North, SC). The Eagles go into the A Region 3 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, North was tipped by Hunter-Kinard-Tyler (Neeses, SC), 37-31, in a league contest.
