The Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA) basketball edged the visiting Carver Panthers (Atlanta, GA), 46-43 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Lovett will play a Wildcats team coming off a 51-19 non-league win over Towers (Decatur, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Carver falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Alcovy (Covington, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Alcovy won 35-33 in their recent league bout against Clarke Central (Athens, GA)
