The Robbinsville Black Knights got by the visiting Copper Basin Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 52-49 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Black Knights clash with the Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) in a 1A Big Smoky outing, on Friday, December 13. Robbinsville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 67-35 non-league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TN).

The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Rebels come into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Fannin County held off Chattooga (Summerville, GA), 71-49, in a league outing.
