December 10, 2024: Melbourne, AR 72556 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR) and the visiting Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR), observed Melbourne's basketball team knock off Flippin by a score of 55-47.
The Bearkatz (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR). The Gryphons come into the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Little Rock Southwest was knocked off by El Dorado (El Dorado, AR), 40-37, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Yellville-Summit Panthers (Yellville, AR) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, December 13. Flippin will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 68-19 non-league win over Shirley (Shirley, AR).
