Mississippi High School Basketball - Mantachie overwhelms Hickory Flat
December 10, 2024: Mantachie, MS 38855 The Mantachie Mustangs basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Hickory Flat Rebels to 36 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now have a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hatley for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Mantachie will confront a Tigers team coming off a 53-36 non-league win over Amory (Amory, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Hickory Flat falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Wheeler (Wheeler, MS) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 8-5. Wheeler lost 65-31 in their recent league game against Biggersville (Corinth, MS)
