December 10, 2024: Battle Creek, MI 49015 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) and the host Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI), observed Lakeshore's basketball team knock off Lakeview by a score of 58-39.
The Lancers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Portage Northern (Portage, MI). The Huskies come into the Southwestern Michigan - West challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Portage Northern dropped by Central (Battle Creek, MI), 54-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Lakeview will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 42-33 non-league win over Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI).
