January 24, 2025: Battle Creek, MI 49015 Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Gull Lake Blue Devils (Richland, MI), 45-29 in a league match.
With the victory, Lakeview advances its record to 7-6 on the year. The Spartans host Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI) to face the Knights in a Southwestern Michigan - East match on Tuesday, January 28. The Knights enter the match with a record of 2-7. Norrix won 45-35 in their recent non-league match against Mattawan (Mattawan, MI)
The Blue Devils now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mattawan for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Gull Lake will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 45-35 non-league loss to Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-10.
