Arkansas High School Basketball - St. Paul thwarts Oark
December 10, 2024: St. Paul, AR 72760 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Paul Saints (St. Paul, AR) and the visiting Oark Hornets (Oark, AR), observed St. Paul's basketball team knock off Oark by a score of 44-32.
The Saints (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Scranton (Scranton, AR). The Rockets come into the 1A Region 4 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Scranton was knocked off by County Line (Branch, AR), 32-29, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Western Yell County Wolverines (Havana, AR) in a 1A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, December 13. Oark will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 53-32 non-league win over Westside (Coal Hill, AR).
