California High School Soccer - Concord nudges Alhambra
December 10, 2024: Martinez, CA 94553 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Concord Bears (Concord, CA) and the host Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), saw Concord's soccer squad hold off Alhambra by a count of 2-1.
The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA). The Eagles enter the Diablo - Valley battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Berean Christian was edged by College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA), 4-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) in a Diablo - Valley battle, on Thursday, December 12. Alhambra will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 1-1 league Miramonte (Orinda, CA).
