The Corinth Holders Pirates basketball squad (Wendell, NC), was crushed 74-27 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC)

With the victory, Broughton advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Capitals travel to Enloe (Raleigh, NC) to face the Eagles in a CAP 8A match on Friday, December 12. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 3-3. Enloe lost 73-55 in their recent non-league contest against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC)

In their next game, the Pirates confront the Rolesville Rams (Rolesville, NC) in a CAP 8A contest, on Friday, December 12. Corinth Holders will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 85-60 non-league win over Heritage (Wake Forest, NC).
