Iowa High School Basketball - Riverdale held off by Davenport West
December 10, 2025: Davenport, IA 52804 In Wednesday's non-league test, the Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA) basketball team edged the visiting Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL), by a tally of 83-81.
The Falcons now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Muscatine for a Mississippi bout on Friday, December 12. Davenport West will play a Muskies team coming off a 71-68 league win over North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Muskies record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Riverdale falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Galva (Galva, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 15. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-3.
