Illinois High School Basketball - Assumption defeats Riverdale
December 3, 2025: Port Byron, IL 61275 The Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) basketball were winner over the host Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL), 61-48 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Davenport West (Davenport, IA). The Falcons come into the Mississippi challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Davenport West was knocked off by Liberty (North Liberty, IA), 75-71, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rams encounter the Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL) in a Three Rivers - West battle, on Friday, December 5. Riverdale will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 60-44 non-league loss to Hamilton/Warsaw (Hamilton, IL).
