St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) backers went home thrilled Wednesday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL), 59-57 in a league contest.

The North Stars (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Bulldogs go into the DuKane contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Batavia nipped Addison Trail (Addison, IL), 59-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a DuKane contest, on Saturday, December 13. Wheaton North will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Fighting Saints go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 75-46 league loss to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL).
