The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) and the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), witnessed Freeport's basketball squad rout Jefferson by a count of 85-64.

With the victory, Freeport advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Pretzels host Hononegah (Rockton, IL) to meet the Indians in a Northern Illinois 10 battle on Friday, December 12. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 5-2. Hononegah won 60-37 in their recent league battle against Guilford (Rockford, IL)

The J-Hawks now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belvidere North for a Northern Illinois 10 battle on Tuesday, December 16.
