The Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 67-38 in Saturday's league test.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Brother Rice walloped Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), 58-51, in a non-league test.

The Steelmen now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Plainfield South for a SouthWest Prairie test on Monday, December 13. Joliet Central will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 69-56 league loss to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.
