In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Marion Center Stingers basketball team scored a decisive 60-38 triumph over the Purchase Line Red Dragons.

In their next game, the Stingers meet the River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) in a Heritage match, on Wednesday, December 15. Marion Center will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.

With the defeat, Purchase Line moves to 0-2 on the year. The Red dragons host Harmony Area (Westover, PA) to meet the Owls in a non-league match on Monday, December 13.
