The Merritt Oilers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Sentinel to 50 in the Oilers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Oilers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sweetwater for a Five County contest on Tuesday, December 14. Merritt will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-41 league loss to Cheyenne/Reydon (Cheyenne, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-8.

The (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Olustee (Olustee, OK). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Olustee prevailed over Waurika (Waurika, OK), 47-33, in a non-league contest.
