December 11, 2023: Rochester, NY 14624 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Wilson Magnet Wildcats (Rochester, NY) and the host Gates Chili Spartans (Rochester, NY), saw Wilson Magnet's basketball squad overcome Gates Chili by a tally of 59-49.
With the victory, Wilson Magnet improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Franklin (Rochester, NY) to confront the Bulldogs in a Section 5 Rochester City Catholic - Upper challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Franklin won 74-70 in their recent non-league challenge against University Prep (Rochester, NY)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Irondequoit Eagles (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Monroe County III challenge, on Friday, December 15. Gates Chili will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 44-30 non-league win over Spencerport (Spencerport, NY).
