Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wilson Magnet Wildcats (Rochester, NY), 89-80 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rush-Henrietta upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Royal Comets host Sutherland (Pittsford, NY) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Sutherland lost 55-51 in their recent non-league bout against Newark (Newark, NY)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Vertus Warriors (Rochester, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Wilson Magnet will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 80-57 non-league loss to Pittsford (Pittsford, NY).
