Texas High School Basketball - Granbury nips Richland
December 11, 2023: Granbury, TX 76048 Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Richland Royals (North Richland Hills, TX), 59-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Granbury upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Boswell (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Boswell lost 62-49 in their recent non-league bout against Brewer (Fort Worth, TX)
Next up, the Royals play the Lake Dallas Falcons (Corinth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Richland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record.
