South Carolina High School Basketball - Jackson Day edges Providence Classical
December 11, 2023: Rock Hill, SC 29730 The Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) basketball nipped the host Providence Classical (Rock Hill, SC), 70-64 in Monday's league test.
The Mariners (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC). The Christian Warriors go into the Metro Area test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Walnut Grove Christian was tipped by Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC), 72-25, in a non-league test.
The now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to NorthPoint Christian Academy for a Metro Area contest on Tuesday, December 12. Providence Classical will meet a NightHawks team coming off a 68-60 league win over Carolina Christian (Locust, NC). The NightHawks record now stands at 2-3.
