The Cougars now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Park Place Christian Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 contest on Tuesday, December 12. Simpson Academy will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 61-28 league win over East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS). The Crusaders record now stands at 11-5.
The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS). The Patriots enter the MAIS 5A District 1 contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Heritage Academy was nudged by Rossville Christian Academy (Rossville, TN), 49-46, in a league contest.
