December 11, 2023: Princess Anne, MD 21853 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Pocomoke Warriors (Pocomoke, MD) and the host Washington Jaguars (Princess Anne, MD), saw Pocomoke's basketball squad hold off Washington by a tally of 64-57.
With the victory, Pocomoke improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Crisfield (Crisfield, MD) to play the Crabbers in a Bayside - South challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Crabbers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Crisfield lost 54-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Kent County (Worton, MD)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Decatur Seahawks (Berlin, MD) in a Bayside - South challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Washington will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 65-55 league win over Bennett (Salisbury, MD).
