December 11, 2023: Plymouth, PA 18651 In Monday's non-league outing, the Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) basketball squad edged the host Wyoming Valley West Spartans (Plymouth, PA), by a margin of 44-38.
The Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Riverside held off Honesdale (Honesdale, PA), 71-49, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Wyoming Seminary College Prep for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 14. Wyoming Valley West will clash with a Blue Knights squad coming off a 56-46 non-league loss to Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA). The Blue Knights record now stands at 2-1.
