Ankeny Hawks (Ankeny, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA), 81-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ankeny upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to Northwest (Waukee, IA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Northwest won 49-41 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA)

Next up, the Indians clash with the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Indianola will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 69-24 league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, IA).
