December 11, 2023: Sidney, OH 45365 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH) and the host Fairlawn Jets (Sidney, OH), saw Ansonia's basketball squad overcome Fairlawn by a tally of 54-43.
With the victory, Ansonia improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Dixie (New Lebanon, OH) to confront the Greyhounds in a Western Ohio challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Dixie lost 60-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenon (Springfield, OH)
Next up, the Jets confront the Botkins Trojans (Botkins, OH) in a Shelby County challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Fairlawn will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 41-25 league loss to Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH).
