Ohio High School Basketball - Tri-Village overwhelms Ansonia
January 6, 2024: Ansonia, OH 45303 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Tri-Village Patriots (New Madison, OH) and the host Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH), saw Tri-Village's basketball squad wallop Ansonia by a tally of 70-28.
With the victory, Tri-Village improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Dixie (New Lebanon, OH) to play the Greyhounds in a Western Ohio challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Dixie won 48-26 in their recent league challenge against Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH)
Next up, the Tigers play the Fort Recovery Indians (Fort Recovery, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Ansonia will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 40-28 league loss to Versailles (Versailles, OH).
