Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks (Union City, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ansonia Tigers (Ansonia, OH), 62-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Mississinawa Valley upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Union City (Union City, IN) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 10-11. Union City lost 42-40 in their recent non-league bout against Wapahani (Selma, IN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Preble Shawnee Arrows (Camden, OH) in a Western Ohio bout, on Thursday, January 25. Ansonia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Arrows go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 37-27 league win over Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH).
