Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks (Union City, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH), 73-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Mississinawa Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Russia (Russia, OH) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Russia lost 41-30 in their recent league bout against Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH)

Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the Preble Shawnee Arrows (Camden, OH) in a Western Ohio bout, on Thursday, December 7. Dixie will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
