Ohio High School Basketball - Mississinawa Valley crushes Houston
February 5, 2024: Houston, OH 45333 Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks (Union City, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Houston Wildcats (Houston, OH), 67-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mississinawa Valley upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH) to play the Arrows in a Western Ohio bout on Thursday, February 8. The Arrows come into the bout with a record of 6-12. Preble Shawnee won 42-40 in their recent league bout against Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Jackson Center Tigers (Jackson Center, OH) in a Shelby County bout, on Thursday, February 8. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 52-19 league win over Fairlawn (Sidney, OH).
