Illinois High School Basketball - Elk Grove holds off Bartlett
December 11, 2023: Bartlett, IL 60103 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) and the host Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL), saw Elk Grove's basketball squad hold off Bartlett by a tally of 41-37.
With the victory, Elk Grove improves its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Grenadiers travel to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL) to confront the Bison in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge on Friday, December 15. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 0-10.
Next up, the Hawks confront the Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Bartlett will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 69-55 league loss to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL).
