December 11, 2023: Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA) and the visiting Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA), saw Sedro-Woolley's basketball squad overcome Bellingham by a tally of 62-43.
With the victory, Sedro-Woolley improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cubs host Ferndale (Ferndale, WA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.
Next up, the Bayhawks confront the Friday Harbor Wolverines (Friday Harbor, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Bellingham will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 63-28 league win over Orcas Island (Eastsound, WA).
