December 11, 2023: Bridgewater, VA 22812 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) and the visiting Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA), saw Turner Ashby's basketball squad wallop Fort Defiance by a tally of 59-35.
With the victory, Turner Ashby improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA) to confront the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. William Monroe lost 42-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA)
Next up, the Indians confront the Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Fort Defiance will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 30-25 non-league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA).
