The Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) basketball were winner over the host A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC), 69-61 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host North Gaston for a 3A Big South bout on Friday, December 13. Crest will play a Wildcats team coming off a 38-37 non-league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, A.C. Reynolds falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rockets host Daniel Boone (Gray, TN) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14.
