In Wednesday's non-league test, the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) basketball squad knocked off the host Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA), by a score of 85-77.

Next, the Comanches encounter the Etiwanda Eagles (Etiwanda, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 13. Canyon will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 51-37 non-league win over Sonora (La Habra, CA).
