The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks basketball squad (Murrieta, CA), was nudged 61-55 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA)

With the victory, Cypress advances its record to 10-4 on the year. The Centurions travel to San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to meet the Stallions in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. The Stallions enter the battle with a record of 8-2. San Juan Hills lost 66-56 in their recent non-league battle against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)

The Nighthawks now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mayfair for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 17. Murrieta Valley will clash with a Monsoons squad coming off a 60-56 non-league win over Bellflower (Bellflower, CA). The Monsoons record now stands at 8-1.
