The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Crescent Tigers (Iva, SC) and the visiting Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC), observed Crescent's basketball team edge Emerald by a score of 53-49.

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph's Catholic edged Blue Ridge (Greer, SC), 54-40, in a non-league challenge.
