The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Midland Adventist Academy Mustangs (Shawnee Mission, KS) and the host St. Vincent de Paul Academy Hawks (Kansas City, MO), observed Midland Adventist Academy's basketball team edge St. Vincent de Paul Academy by a score of 54-51.

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy (Overland Park, KS). The Rams come into the Great Plains challenge with a 4-5 record.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Ozanam (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. St. Vincent de Paul Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
