North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Guilford can't hold off Ragsdale

The Ragsdale Tigers tipped the visiting Southern Guilford Storm basketball team by a margin of 51-47 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies come into the 4A Metro contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Grimsley was tipped by Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 57-55, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Storm battle the Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) in a 3A Mid-State contest, on Friday, December 13. Southern Guilford will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 76-39 league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC).
