The Emerald Vikings basketball team scored 30 points and limited the host Crescent Tigers to 29 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Emerald will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 56-17 non-league win over Union County (Union, SC). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Crescent falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, December 13.
