December 11, 2024: Ridgeway, VA 24148 Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA), 55-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Magna Vista advances its record to 1-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Halifax County (South Boston, VA) to meet the Comets in a Piedmont match on Friday, December 13. The Comets enter the match with a record of 3-2. Halifax County lost 58-23 in their recent non-league match against Gretna (Gretna, VA)
The Cougars now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carroll County for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Pulaski County will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 55-15 non-league loss to Abingdon (Abingdon, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-4.
