The Spartans now own a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league outing on Friday, December 13. Amity Regional will encounter a Green Knights team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Green Knights record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Newtown moves to 0-1 on the season. The Nighthawks host Housatonic/Northwestern (Falls Village, CT) to encounter the Mountaineers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 18. The Mountaineers go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
