December 11, 2024: Cambridge, MA 02138 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights ice hockey team scored a close 5-4 victory over the Austin Prep Cougars.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mark's (Southborough, MA). The Lions go into the contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, St. Mark's edged Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA), 4-2, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 31. Austin Prep will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
