The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) and the visiting Bolton Academy Bears (Alexandria, LA), witnessed Grant's basketball squad rout Bolton Academy by a count of 60-33.

With the victory, Grant advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Cougars host Castor (Castor, LA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 16. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 9-5. Castor lost 56-51 in their recent non-league battle against Saline (Saline, LA)

The Bears now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Baptist Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. Bolton Academy will meet a Bears squad coming off a 67-37 non-league loss to Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA). The Bears record now stands at 0-6.
