The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) and the visiting Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), observed Dexter's basketball team edge Hot Springs by a score of 49-45.

The Demons (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Tularosa edged McCurdy (Espanola, NM), 76-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 12. Hot Springs will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 62-28 non-league loss to Pecos (Pecos, NM).
