The Rosamond Roadrunners basketball squad (Rosamond, CA), was nudged 42-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Mira Monte Lions (Bakersfield, CA)

With the victory, Mira Monte advances its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Taft (Taft, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 13. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 3-4. Taft won 50-48 in their recent non-league contest against Paraclete (Lancaster, CA)

In their next game, the Roadrunners confront the California City Ravens (California City, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12.
