The Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) basketball toppled the host Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, OH), 55-46 in Thursday's league bout.

The Tornadoes now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Portsmouth for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. Southern will play a Trojans team coming off a 49-41 non-league win over Minford (Minford, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
