The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Aquinas Fightin' Irish (Augusta, GA) and the visiting Augusta Prep Cavaliers (Augusta, GA), observed Aquinas's basketball team overwhelm Augusta Prep by a score of 46-10.

The Fightin' Irish (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Raiders come into the AAA Region 4 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, West Laurens trounced Howard (Macon, GA), 56-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavaliers encounter the Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, January 3. Augusta Prep will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
