In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Ropes Eagles basketball team scored a good 52-35 triumph over the Midland Classical Academy Knights.

The Eagles (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Seagraves (Seagraves, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Seagraves was toppled by Monahans (Monahans, TX), 50-30, in a non-league contest.
