December 11, 2025: New Boston, TX 75570 The New Boston Lions basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Miller Grove Hornets to 10 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Redwater for a 3A Region II District 14 outing on Tuesday, December 16. New Boston will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 73-27 league loss to Atlanta (Atlanta, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 6-16.
The Hornets (0-13) will now prepare for their outing against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels enter the non-league outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Rivercrest was overwhelmed by Paris (Paris, TX), 48-31, in a non-league outing.
